Over the course of several decades, we humans have effectively written ourselves out of nature. We speak about it as the “other”, as an experience we can choose to enter into or excuse ourselves from.
The truth is, I am that horse, and so are you.
Each of our emotions and thoughts carry a frequency, rippling out through our energetic field and into the great interconnected web of which we are all apart. We are all transmitting, and we are all receiving, all the time.
This is what we mean when we say, “he lights up the room,” or “I’m just getting bad vibes”. Sometimes we get a ‘gut feeling’ about circumstances, places, and people. Our pets often seem to know what we’re feeling, even in the absence of a common language. We even feel a palpable difference in cities when we travel, a collective undercurrent.
This is both miraculous, and the most natural phenomenon of all. We are all woven into the same cloth, all connected in ways we don’t yet have language for.
Perhaps most importantly, it begs the questions - what are we putting into the world, and what are we tuned in to receive?
